Text and Image Self-Assessment

1. Which one of the four of your Text Designs is the most successful? In what ways? Please be specific.
I believe my “to write with a broken pencil is pointless” text design is the most successful. This one is simple and to the point, but at the same time delivers the pun very well. The text is very readable and bold. Nothing looks plastered on the image randomly, it all looks very fluent.

2. List some of the tools that you learned and used in this assignment. Which ones did you find the most helpful and in what ways?
I learned to use the hue tool, which was the most helpful for me. This is because all of the pictures really were brought to life when I changed the hue to the most desirable colors. Another tool that was useful was the black and white tool, this helped me to meet the requirements for two black and white designs. Also the tolerance tool helped me get my desired areas deleted.

3. With regards to Design concepts and/or Photoshop tools, what do you think you need to know and what do you want to know?
With photoshop tools I would love to learn more about the program and other useful tools that will help me improve my overall designs. Regarding design concepts I think i need to learn a bit more about the different types of deign. Also, I know there are many other creative ways to approach a design and there are a lot of other photoshop tools not being used. There are many other things that I could learn that might help further my design skills, but that I am unaware of at this point.
